Started Pullets

***As of 04/20, we are not accepting new orders for pullets. You can reach out to us on our contact form to be added to a notify list if we have extra pullets available (mid June).

Minimum order of at least two pullets, okay to mix and match. We will do our best to ensure your pair/group are brooded and bonded together. Orders filled as available on a rolling basis and earliest will be filled early June.

Started pullets are offered on an extremely limited basis, so place your order early!

Off-Type Pita Pinta Asturiana (Roxa) $60 / Pair of Maturing Pullets

Waitlist Orders for 2026 filled. Help us preserve the Pita Pinta Asturiana Roxa! We are also offering started/nearing point-of-lay Pita Pinta Asturiana Roxa pullets that are not breeding quality (expect millefleur pattern, inappropriate black feathers, non uniform mottling, prominent lacing, or simply more red than orange – but still a joy to have around!) on a waitlist basis at $60 for a pair. Please reach out to us on our contact form to be added to that waitlist.

Hatching Eggs

Hatching egg orders are filled on a rolling basis, as available. Earliest possible availability date is late February, however, our Gilded Martin line are not low light layers so don’t expect those until April. Our order form includes space for you to note your availability and earliest preferred pickup date. Hatching Egg orders are filled *after* chick orders, so if timing is important to you, please order chicks instead.

Understory Chickens – Green Spectrum Selection Hatching Eggs – $80 for full dozen

For our Green Spectrum Selection Hatching Eggs, we will select our most deeply pigmented and speckled eggs (every shade of green) from our Silverudd’s Blue, Elk Creek Rock, Sunset Highway, and Gilded Martin Breeding Groups – ranging from light to dark. Please be aware that daughters may not lay the same shade as their mother and there is still some chance of a daughter laying a pink/beige/brown toned egg. We will cross our fingers for you!
